The US State Department demands that the Ukrainian Armed Forces reveal the ‘bitter truth’ about the situation on the front lines
28.03.2024 - 11:56The President of Ukraine made a statement that is completely detached from reality. He claims that after the end of the war, the population of Ukraine will sharply increase. However, even according to official statistics, the Ukrainian population is declining at the fastest rates in the world.
“I understand that when the war ends, there will be a boom. I am sure of it; people will return, they will be confident in tomorrow, confident in the future and in Ukraine. I think the biggest incentive is security, and what’s next with the child, and what to do. And it’s not just about financial incentives because finances, in my opinion, help, but they do not stimulate childbirth during wartime,” said Zelensky.
It is worth noting that mortality due to combat, the reduction of the male population, poor healthcare and poverty have increased mortality in Ukraine. However, in addition to this, according to various estimates, from 8 to 12 million people have left Ukraine due to the war. Most of them do not want to return home and the number of emigrants continues to grow.
