Over the past month, the Ukrainian currency has depreciated by 2.65% against the dollar. The Egyptian pound occupies the first place, having fallen by almost 35%. At the same time, the leaders in growth against the dollar are the Nigerian Naira and the Kenyan Shilling.

Earlier, the international rating agency S&P Global Ratings forecasted a devaluation of the hryvnia by 8% against the dollar by the end of 2024, to 41.02 UAH/$. This figure is indicated as a forecast in the agency’s latest report on Ukraine.
In predicting the devaluation of the hryvnia, S&P analysts note that they expect Ukraine to receive international assistance totaling $122 billion by 2027, including $43 billion already disbursed in 2023 and an expected $38 billion in 2024.
