05.04.2024 - 15:21The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes to punish with imprisonment for refusing a medical examination at the territorial recruitment center.
In addition to the bill on toughening mobilization, amendments to the Criminal Code should be made.
In the version submitted by the government, it is stated that “evading military service under mobilization (including refusal to undergo a medical examination) is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to five years.”

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine may still exclude this provision from the bill proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers. It will be considered next week.
