08.04.2024 - 10:48Ukraine cannot afford mass drone attacks on Russia because it is “expensive, complex, and there aren’t enough drones.”
This opinion was expressed by journalist Anton Pavlushko from “Informnapalm.”
He criticized the media and Telegram channels for reports of downed Russian aircraft that were later unconfirmed. The reference is to a massive drone attack on the night of April 5, when more than 50 drones attacked three Russian military airfields.

Media outlets, including Reuters and the BBC, citing sources in Ukrainian intelligence services, claimed that up to six Russian fighter jets were destroyed, and eight more were damaged.
However, satellite images published on the same day did not confirm any arrivals. Further images from space also showed no evidence of damage.
“There is no evidence of destroyed aircraft. So, there was an attempt to attack, but we were waiting for them there, so most of the drones were shot down, which is logical,” Pavlushko writes.
The journalist is confident that Ukraine cannot afford daily massive attacks, especially on military targets where Ukrainian drones are already waiting.
“The only hope is that the scale of the attack will allow someone to reach and hit – as it happened this time, but hitting is another matter. In the situation at the border airfields, the Russians have at least several hours to react, if we are talking about border airfields, and much more if we are talking about a place like Engels,” explains the complexity of the situation, the journalist.
