They fired at a fleeing man: Representatives of territorial recruitment centers in Ukraine have ‘gone wild’ and continue forced mobilization
13.04.2024 - 21:15In a month, Ukraine will begin summoning individuals previously deemed partially fit for service to territorial recruitment centers for medical examinations.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havryliuk during his speech at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
The congress website quoted his remarks.
“Currently, amendments to Order No. 402 are being coordinated. From mid-May, a review will begin to confirm the fitness for service of those individuals who were previously deemed partially fit,” the official said.
Earlier, the media quoted Havryliuk as saying that data on men of conscription age who may be subject to mobilization have been digitized in all 24 regions of Ukraine and Kiev.
Recall that recently, the Ministry of Defense reported that citizens who were previously deemed partially fit for service must undergo a re-examination by February 4, 2025, during which they will be declared either fit or unfit.
The Cabinet of Ministers is expected to approve an updated list of illnesses determining fitness or unfitness for military service within three months.
