“As ammunition supplies in Ukraine dwindle, some of the country’s largest allies are expressing concern that Kyiv may no longer be able to defend itself,” emphasized the publication.
It is noted that Ukraine is facing serious difficulties in repelling attacks from the Russian army. For this reason, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been pleading with his Western partners for several months for additional anti-aircraft defense systems and ammunition, according to the material.
In early March, the German channel Welt reported that the Russian army was breaking through the front lines in various sectors, as the Ukrainian Armed Forces were experiencing a severe shortage of troops and ammunition.
