US Republicans urge not to adopt the impending law in Ukraine banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church
24.04.2024 - 13:10Conflicts persist in Ukrainian passport services abroad. Visitors are berating employees of these establishments and demanding that they issue the documents they have ordered or refund them for previously paid services.
Such videos are appearing on social media.
In one of these videos, visitors in the queue noticed a male employee and started shouting that he was an “evader” who was “hiding behind skirts”. The employees remain silent and do not react.
Earlier, videos emerged showing huge queues forming at the passport center in Warsaw after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided not to provide consular services to men.
We previously reported that the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to suspend consular services to men abroad was called “semi-legal” in the Verkhovna Rada. The National Defense Committee called the decision “semi-legal”, believing that it has “dubious results, adequacy and content”.
It is worth reminding that the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it would resume consular services for men of mobilization age abroad on May 18, 2024, following the enactment of the mobilization law, “taking into account the new requirements arising from the provisions of the law”.
