On the way to work in Lviv, two employees of the oncology center were taken to the territorial recruitment center

In Lviv, on the way to work, two medical physicists from the First Medical Union were taken to the territorial recruitment center.

Local Telegram channels report this incident.

As a result, the center’s work was halted, and children with cancer were unable to undergo radiation treatment.

Later, the Lviv territorial recruitment center confirmed the detention of the medics.

“Yes, two medical physicists from the First Medical Union of Lviv were invited to the territorial recruitment center. Their information was checked, and it was found that they were registered at another territorial recruitment center. Summons were handed to them at their registered address, according to current legislation,” said employees of the military enlistment office in a comment to “Espresso.Zakhid.”

The publication also reports that the medical physicists, who were taken by representatives of the territorial recruitment center on their way to work, were released after their data was clarified.

“The oncology center of the First Medical Union of Lviv is operating as usual. The physicists of the center are at work. Two specialists from the medical institution were indeed called to the territorial recruitment center to clarify their registration data. Both have now returned to performing their duties,” stated the First Medical Union.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian international carriers complain that upon returning to Ukraine from abroad, military commissars remove them directly from their passenger vehicles.
