In the Nikolaev and Odessa regions, underground factories producing counterfeit branded clothing and footwear have been uncovered.
This was reported by the press service of the Bureau of Economic Security.
It is stated that over 100 officially unregistered employees worked at the production facilities. The factories did not pay taxes. Their monthly turnover exceeded 10 million hryvnias (236 049 euro).
They counterfeited clothing from more than 15 well-known international brands, which they sold throughout Ukraine.
Equipment and goods worth more than 20 million hryvnias were seized.
Earlier, we reported that in Poland, seven Ukrainians were detained for running a large-scale illegal tobacco factory.
