Ineffective implementation of decisions. What does the situation with fortifications for the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicate?
12.05.2024 - 20:42US presidential candidate Donald Trump once again promised to end the war in Ukraine shortly after his reelection.
He made this statement at a rally of his supporters.
“From the very first day when we take back the White House from the dishonest Joe Biden, I believe we will have the four greatest years in the history of our country. Before I even step into the Oval Office, right after I win, I will resolve the terrible conflict between Russia and Ukraine. I know them well,” he said.
It is worth reminding that earlier, the “America First” institute, close to the Republicans, stated that Trump, if elected, could condition military aid to Ukraine on its participation in peace talks with Russia.
Previously, The Washington Post wrote about “Trump’s secret plan” to stop the war in Ukraine within 24 hours. According to sources cited by the publication, Trump’s plan involves pushing Ukraine to hand over Crimea and Donbas to Russia.
Later, Trump’s camp dismissed reports of his plan to compel Ukraine to give up seized territories for the sake of peace as “fake news.”
