In the judicial register of Ukraine, a decision has appeared which describes for the first time the journey of a person forced into a minibus by employees of the territorial recruitment center in Odessa
13.05.2024 - 10:51Ukraine has become much less frequent in shooting down Russian missiles.
This is reported by the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal.
Analyzing the reports of the Ukrainian Air Force, the publication concluded that the rate over the past six months has dropped to 46% compared to 73% in the previous 6 months. In April, it was already at 30%. As for the “Shaheds,” the rate has remained almost unchanged – around 80%.
The WSJ links this to the fact that Russia has intensified attacks with drones and missiles, especially ballistic ones, while Kiev is running out of ammunition for Patriot systems. Over the past six months, Russia has launched about 45% more “Shaheds” and missiles than in the previous six months.
A representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that intercepting a larger number of targets could lead to ammunition depletion, and Russia’s more powerful salvos could overload the Ukrainian air defense, causing it to be unable to reload in time.
European military intelligence has stated that the next two months will be crucial when new air defense assets are expected to arrive.
