‘Draft dodgers are no longer Ukrainians, but ‘gypsies’- former advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Andrusiv made a resonant statement
14.05.2024 - 12:44Russia may soon begin an offensive near Sumy.
“The situation is on the edge. Every hour, this situation is approaching a critical point,” Budanov told journalists in a bunker in Kharkiv.
He believes that within the next few days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) will be able to stabilize the front near Kharkiv, and the Russian offensive will continue for another three to four days. However, after that, Russian forces may initiate a new offensive – in the Sumy region.
Budanov also stated that the UAF has no reserves left.
“All our troops are either here or in Chasiv Yar. I’ve used everything we have. Unfortunately, we have no one left in reserve,” said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
He agrees with assessments that Russia is stretching the already exhausted forces of the UAF near Kharkiv and aims to “sow panic and confusion in the region.”
“At the moment, our task is to stabilize the line and then start pushing them back across the border,” Budanov said, adding that the influx of Ukrainian reserves was able to “partially disrupt their plans.”
