Russian troops have advanced towards Vovchansk – Deep State

During the past day, the Russian army has advanced towards Volchansk.

This was reported by the military Telegram channel Deep State.

According to the Deep State’s map, the Russians have entrenched themselves north of Volchansk in the area of Gatyshche – Pletenevka, as well as on the northern outskirts of the city. Additionally, they have advanced to the west of Volchansk, relying on the village of Bugrovatka, which, according to the Deep State map, appears to be largely captured.

In the morning briefing, the Ukrainian General Staff again stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had left several positions near Volchansk, as well as further west in the Lukyantsi area.

“In some areas, near Lukyantsi and Volchansk, due to enemy fire and assault actions, in order to preserve the lives of our servicemen and avoid losses, units made maneuvers and moved to more advantageous positions. Fighting continues,” the General Staff reported.

However, according to the Deep State map, the situation in the Lukyantsi area has not changed over the past day.

Recall that yesterday, the General Staff reported the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from positions near Volchansk and the settlement of Lukyantsi.
