The image was placed on the wall of a boarding school for children with special mental needs.
People eager to take photos in front of it were climbing over the fence onto the institution’s premises, which psychologically traumatized the children.
The enormous mural featuring former Chief of the General Staff Valeriy Zaluzhny appeared on a building in Kyiv located at 51 Kotelnikova Street. It emerged in Kyiv despite the ban imposed by local authorities last fall.
The mural, created by artist Yevhen Kucher, measures over 120 square meters, earning it a spot in the records of Ukraine. The artist spent 13 hours working on it.
It’s worth noting that Volodymyr Zelensky officially dismissed former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny. This was stated in presidential decree No. 309/2024, published on May 9, 2024.
“The dismissal of General Valeriy Fedorovych Zaluzhny from military service on health grounds, with the right to wear military uniform,” the decree notes.
