23.05.2024 - 23:13In Ivano-Frankivsk, there is a shortage of municipal workers due to mobilization.
This was reported by the city’s mayor, Ruslan Martsinkiv, during a live broadcast on the radio station “Western Pole.”
According to the mayor, over 300 mobilized workers are needed, but replacements are hard to find since middle-aged people do not want to take up such jobs, and older individuals or women are unable to perform them. The mayor added that most vacancies are currently at three municipal enterprises: the “Municipal Road Company,” “Beautification,” and “Electroautotrans.”
Previously, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, stated that two city buses would not operate on their routes because the drivers had been mobilized.
Before that, the mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, mentioned that public transport in the city would soon come to a halt due to mobilization.
