Ukrainians may face up to 20 hours a day without electricity and heating this winter, according to sources in DTEK.

It is noted that repairing several thermal and hydroelectric power plants will take years, and some energy facilities may never resume operation.
The publication also mentions that residential buildings were without power for long periods because people turned on all their electrical appliances simultaneously when electricity became available, leading to fires.
Previously, after similar forecasts of prolonged outages, Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy accused the Financial Times of working for Russia.
