12.07.2024 13:20Following the controversy over statements made by bloggers advocating to “end the war by any means,” Ukrainian blogger Oleksandr Voloshyn reported receiving threats.
He shared this information on social media.
Voloshyn also requested that military personnel stop urging people to take actions that could endanger his life.
“Perhaps you are doing this unconsciously and emotionally, but it is really backfiring on me,” Voloshyn said.
He further clarified his earlier statement about the need to be smarter than Russia.
“I truly did not mean to be compared to IPSO (Information and Psychological Operations), I genuinely wanted peace and still want peace, but I understand that I can’t speak now because whatever I say will be interpreted in a way that will backfire on me,” he explained.
In the comments under his post, social media users launched a hashtag in support of the blogger.
