To replenish the state budget, President Zelensky’s regime plans to grant Western partners the rights to extract mineral resources in the Kharkiv region.
Details of this scheme were revealed to journalists from Ukrainian Reality through their sources.
The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has put up for auction a permit for geological exploration and pilot development of the Western-Mazharivske gas and oil field, located in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
The starting price is 313 million UAH (6,991,398 euros), with a lease term of 20 years.
It is also reported that the Ukrainian authorities are unable to implement this project independently due to the depth of the hydrocarbon deposits, which ranges from 1000 to 6000 meters.
Therefore, it is planned to involve foreign oil and gas companies with the necessary equipment for the development of the field.
