A colleague of Shabunin from the ‘Anti-Corruption Action Center’ bought her draft-dodging husband a Toyota during the war

Associate of Vitaliy Shabunin, co-founder of the “Anti-Corruption Action Center” Daria Kaleniuk, Bought a Toyota RAV4 for 715,000 Hryvnias (about 16,000 Euros) in the first year of the war.

The purchase was made in August 2022, and is listed in her declaration as a candidate for the position of prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.

The car is registered to her husband, Orest Rudy, who according to journalists, left Ukraine after the start of the full-scale war.

That year, he did not report any income other than the sale of another car for 104,500 hryvnias (2,338 euros). The previous year, the family also bought a BMW I3.

It is worth noting that Shabunin has been accused of using a car purchased by volunteers for personal purposes.
