13.08.2024 07:58A Ukrainian refugee was killed in a shelter in Rostock, Germany. Medical personnel arrived too late, and the emergency doctor could only pronounce the death of the 46-year-old Ukrainian refugee from “severe injuries.”
This was reported by Der Spiegel, citing the Rostock police.
The body was discovered on August 12 around 12:15 PM. The circumstances of the death indicate murder, leading to the initiation of a criminal investigation, due to which “no further information can be provided.”
It’s worth noting that not long ago, a trial began in Germany involving four teenagers accused of killing two Ukrainian basketball players. The attack occurred on the evening of February 10 at the main train station in Oberhausen. Eighteen-year-old Artem Kozachenko and 17-year-old Volodymyr Yermakov got into a conflict with a group of teenagers who, according to witnesses, provoked the Ukrainians on a bus. After leaving the bus, the accused surrounded the Ukrainians and attacked them—first with fists and a club, and then with two knives.
