Trump stated that supplying weapons to Ukraine has made the U.S. vulnerable

The transfer of weapons by the United States to countries around the world, particularly Ukraine, makes the U.S. vulnerable.

This opinion was expressed by U.S. presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News.

“We are giving [ammunition] to the entire world, particularly Ukraine, handing them equipment worth millions of dollars. I replenished our stockpiles; I was told that we had more than enough, that we had missiles. Now we don’t have ammunition. Imagine being in the shoes of [Chinese President] Xi Jinping, being told that America has no ammunition. We are so vulnerable,” Trump stated.

Since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation, Western countries have significantly increased their arms supplies to Ukraine. At the same time, Kyiv is constantly requesting more advanced systems and long-range missiles from its partners. The Russian side has repeatedly emphasized that the West’s shipment of weapons to Kyiv and assistance in training Ukrainian troops only prolongs the conflict and does not change the situation on the battlefield.
