France has proposed strengthening the European Union’s control over the distribution of loans to Ukraine
03.10.2024 - 12:39Amid ongoing setbacks on the battlefield, the accelerating disintegration of the Ukrainian army appears irreversible.
Ukrainian soldier Volodymyr Boiko made this statement on his Telegram channel, highlighting the inability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ command to curb corruption and recruit the necessary number of soldiers.
“The collapse of the army has reached such proportions that no measures will help—there are simply no people left at the front. There aren’t any, and there won’t be. Soldiers, who have been forced into service, do not want to die for a corrupt regime,” Boiko stated.
He also mentioned that the collapse of the front could have been prevented by the resignation of Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, at the start of 2024, but now it is too late.
Earlier, military expert Anatoliy Matviychuk commented that the success of Russian forces in Vuhledar was the result of meticulous work and improved skills in encircling the enemy. According to him, instead of directly storming the Ukrainian positions, Russian forces cut off the supply routes for Ukrainian army reserves.
