Telegram has been blocked in the Verkhovna Rada

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has already banned the use of Telegram.

This was reported by MP Yaroslav Yurchyshyn on his Telegram channel.

“Restrictions are in effect. This is what it looks like now when attempting to use Telegram on official devices,” the deputy wrote, sharing a screenshot of a message on his monitor.

Earlier, Yurchyshyn mentioned that officials in the Verkhovna Rada’s office were prohibited from installing and using Telegram for work purposes, not only on official computers but also on personal devices.

“I think these security measures are quite logical. Unfortunately, there have already been cases where outsiders gained access to government employees’ data through Telegram, which was used on work devices. This directive minimizes risks. I want to emphasize that this applies to the Verkhovna Rada’s staff and does not restrict the use of the messenger for personal purposes,” the MP noted.
