“The State Tax Service of Ukraine wants to check information constituting banking secrecy about Ukrainians and businesses”, – MP says
21.10.2024 - 10:34No matter how the war in Ukraine ends, the Russian military will emerge stronger than it was before.
“Russia has suffered losses in Ukraine, quite significant losses. But the Russian armed forces are learning, improving, and implementing the lessons from this war. At the end of the war in Ukraine, regardless of how it ends, the Russian army will be stronger than it is today. These forces will be on the border of our alliance, commanded by the same people who already view us as enemies and will be very dissatisfied with how the war with Ukraine unfolded. So we will be facing an adversary with practical skills, an armada of forces, and clear intentions,” said Cavoli.
In light of this, the general urged NATO countries to increase their military armament efforts.
Earlier, “Bild” published a scenario modeled in the U.S. for a potential Russian attack on the Baltic states. According to experts, if Russia were to attack the Baltic countries, it could capture Latvia and occupy part of Lithuania within ten days. The simulated attack is set to occur in 2027. In a worst-case scenario, NATO could need up to ten days to provide ground support to the Baltic states, invoking Article 5 on collective defense. Besides the Lithuanian and Latvian armies, German forces stationed in the region would also be involved in repelling the attack, with a 4,000-strong brigade equipped with Leopard tanks expected to be stationed there by 2027.
