05.11.2024 - 17:23The Russian army, after capturing Selydove in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk region, has begun advancing westward toward the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by Julian Röpcke, a military analyst for the German tabloid *Bild*.
Citing geolocated footage from Russian Telegram channels, Röpcke stated that Russian forces have already captured the village of Hryhorivka, located west of Selydove, and are now attacking Petrovka. From this point, Russian forces are just 21 kilometers from the Dnipropetrovsk region, Röpcke noted.
On October 29, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the complete capture of Selydove.
Earlier today, Röpcke also reported a threat of Ukrainian Armed Forces being encircled near Kurakhove.
