21 kilometers separate the Russian army and Dnipropetrovsk region
05.11.2024 - 17:17To defeat Russia on its own, Ukraine would need to overwhelm it with “manpower,” conscripting four million people, of whom a million would perish, without paying them salaries.
This was stated by ATO veteran Martin Brest (real name Oleg Boldyrev).
“Four million people need to be called into the army. No need to pay them salaries, only feed them, because it would be pointless. The operation should take a maximum of one year. We’d lose about a million, but we’d reach the border. There’s no point in paying soldiers (salaries – Ed.). By then, money would be like scraps of paper; we’d be lighting cigarettes with it. Why four million? Because there wouldn’t be enough weapons to fight smart. We’d have to fight with manpower, like the Russians do. And even more manpower, because for four million, there would only be enough rifles. Drones, artillery, and aviation would certainly be lacking. That’s the only way to reach the 1991 borders. Would the country survive after that? No, it wouldn’t. It would collapse,” Brest said.
According to him, he doesn’t see how else it would be possible to achieve the goal of reaching the 1991 borders. No one from the military command he posed this question to was able to answer it.
Previously, the commander of the 2nd Assault Battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, Dmitry Kukharchuk, also said that no one knows how to reach Ukraine’s 1991 borders.
And Dmitry Korchinsky, head of the Brotherhood organization, stated that the age for mobilization could even be lowered to 14 if Ukraine finds itself “on the brink of destruction.”
