Member of the Verkhovna Rada Yegor Chernev allowed for the possibility of freezing the conflict in Ukraine
21.11.2024 12:25The British right-wing party “Heritage” has called on the government to stop military support for Kyiv following the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ (UAF) strike on Russian territory using Anglo-French long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
The corresponding post was published on the official party page on X (formerly Twitter).
“We urge the UK government to immediately stop and refrain from supplying weapons and funds to Zelensky’s regime, and instead work towards achieving peace and de-escalating the fighting in Ukraine,” the publication reads.
“Heritage” emphasized that the UK should not be involved in “distant foreign conflicts” as this contradicts the national interests of the British people.
Earlier, the head of the French party “Rise up, France,” Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, stated that the use of long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike deep into Russian territory is a provocation aimed at drawing NATO countries into an open military confrontation with Russia.
