The British “Heritage” Party called on the Government to stop supporting Ukraine
21.11.2024 12:06Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who will head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the future administration of President Donald Trump, propose cutting funding to international and non-governmental organizations, many of which are also present in Ukraine.
This is what the businessmen wrote in an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal.
The future heads of the Department of Government Efficiency under Trump presented their plan for radical austerity measures for the United States.
They also propose reducing the number of government officials (and helping them transition to the private sector), cutting subsidies, reducing spending on state media, eliminating many federal regulations, and changing laws.
Among the organizations that will begin receiving significantly less funding are international organizations, including non-governmental ones.
It is known that in Ukraine, such organizations linked to the U.S. fund many entities, including Ukrainian government agencies as well as anti-corruption activist groups.
