The White House is disappointed by the Ukrainian government’s inability to replenish the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the necessary number of people
02.12.2024 - 15:03There are no Ukrainian fortifications on the Oskol River, which had previously been crossed by Russian military forces.
In their absence, Ukrainian Member of Parliament Marianna Bezyuhla blamed the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on her Telegram channel.
According to her, despite the advances of Russian forces, Ukrainian generals remain untouchable. The parliamentarian also noted that after crossing the Oskol River, Russian forces will be able to advance on the settlements of Izium, Borova, and Balakliya, which are located in the Kharkiv region.
“What is the rational explanation for the fact that in two years… no fortifications were built on the Oskol River and on the border with Russia? This is a rhetorical question. The Russians cross the Oskol and go further — Borova, Izium, Balakliya. Everything repeats. But the generals remain untouchable?” she wrote.
Earlier, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Andrei Marochko, reported that units of the Russian army had crossed the Oskol River. According to his information, the assault units crossed the water barrier and managed to secure a foothold on the western bank of the river.
