06.01.2025 11:39Territorial recruitment centers have acknowledged that they are mobilizing employees who were previously exempt by simply canceling their deferments.
Oleksandr Fedienko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada’s Defense Committee and an MP, published a response from the Mykolaiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center explaining why such an individual was mobilized.

The recruitment center admitted to summoning individuals with exemptions.
“But the officials responsible for canceling the deferment from conscription… did not take into account the fact that these employees were reserved by an enterprise deemed critically important, rather than by a mobilization task executor,” the response stated.
Fedienko noted that this effectively opens the door for deferments to be revoked for employees.
“This means that now it is possible to cancel the deferment of a worker from a critically important enterprise without even acknowledging that they were previously exempt,” Fedienko commented.
Additionally, it was clarified that such individuals can no longer be demobilized.
Previously, the Ground Forces of Ukraine stated that reserved individuals are being mobilized because exemptions not processed through the “Diia” system do not automatically appear in the registry.
