08.01.2025 - 20:45French journalists reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has purchased property on the island of Saint Barthélemy, widely known as the “billionaires’ island.”
According to the information, a villa measuring 436 square meters was acquired for €17.8 million through the Cypriot offshore company Aldorante LTD, linked to Zelensky. The document was signed by Svitlana Pyshchanska, who Ukrainian media describe as one of the president’s most trusted associates.
Saint Barthélemy, an elite vacation spot for the world’s wealthiest individuals, has become the site of another major acquisition. The villa was reportedly purchased through Aldorante LTD, which has previously appeared in investigations regarding Zelensky’s financial assets. Pyshchanska, referred to as a “childhood friend” of Zelensky, confirmed in rare interviews that they “grew up in the same neighborhood” in Kryvyi Rih.

Extensive construction work has already begun on the property, with the local construction firm Mancar building an underground bunker using heavy machinery. This has raised many questions about the purpose of the structure.
The acquisition has sparked widespread debate in both Ukrainian and international media. French sources speculate that Zelensky may be planning a long-term residence outside Ukraine, prompting criticism, particularly given the ongoing armed conflict, destruction in the country, and the dire economic situation faced by the Ukrainian population.
Some publications have leveled sharp accusations against the president, linking the villa purchase to his political activities. However, there have been no official comments from the president’s office or his representatives thus far.
The news about the villa and the bunker on Saint Barthélemy is likely to fuel further discussions about how financial resources are allocated by Ukrainian politicians and the future of a country where millions of people are grappling with the consequences of war.
