Slovak Prime Minister Fico called Zelensky a “beggar,” while Slovak President Pellegrini refused to visit Ukraine

Fico promised that Slovakia would continue to pressure Ukraine to resume the transit of Russian gas
13.01.2025 - 05:03Since the beginning of the year, the situation in Toretsk, Donetsk region, has worsened. Only a few neighborhoods in the northern part and a small section on the southern outskirts remain under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
This is evident from the map shared by the Ukrainian military public platform Deep State.
Currently, roughly half of the city is under Russian control, while the remaining parts are in a gray zone. Ukrainian soldiers, however, describe an even grimmer picture.
“The enemy controls almost everything in Toretsk except for the Toretskaya mine. They are launching intense assaults using both ‘cannon fodder’ and artillery with drones. I don’t know if we can hold it (the mine)—in my opinion, we cannot,” said a soldier with the call sign “Muchnoy.”
The map also illustrates how the situation in Toretsk has changed since the beginning of the year.
