In Kharkiv, an unidentified man used a pistol to smash a window of a “mobilization” minibus where military recruiters had earlier forced two citizens inside.

The incident was captured on video and shared on Ukrainian Telegram channels.

The young men managed to escape from the vehicle, leading to a confrontation between the recruiters and civilians.

The video shows the vehicle with shattered windows. A middle-aged man with light-colored hair visible under a cap is seen holding a pistol and addressing one of the recruiters. A civilian in a blue denim outfit and another recruitment officer are attempting to calm the situation.

The armed man is dressed in a black hoodie, black pants, and carries a black crossbody bag.

Local social media channels report that the conflict began when recruiters stopped near a sidewalk and forcibly detained two young men standing there.

The video’s second half shows the initial moments of the conflict. In the footage, the man in black runs toward the recruiters, shouting, “I’ll shoot you!”
