The National Police of Ukraine reports a second large-scale raid within a week targeting suspects involved in organizing illegal schemes for men to leave the country.
More than 200 searches are being conducted across 19 regions.
“These offenses are committed through fraud, document forgery, unauthorized interference in electronic registries, and bribery of officials,” the statement said.
Details will be released after investigative actions are completed, the police noted.
Over the weekend, 600 searches were conducted, identifying more than 60 suspects. Among the uncovered schemes were crossing the border outside official checkpoints, using fake medical documents, creating fictitious entries in the “Shlyakh” information system, and many others.
Suspects include heads of medical institutions, employees of territorial recruitment centers, medical-social expert commissions, and military medical commissions.
In December, 39 searches were carried out in Kharkiv Oblast targeting workers of territorial recruitment centers and military medical commissions who profited from schemes to help people evade mobilization.
