26.01.2025 17:31Andriy Yermak, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has addressed the recently discussed “100-Day Peace Plan,” allegedly drafted by the team of former U.S. President Donald Trump. According to Yermak, no such plan exists.
“There is no such thing as a ‘100-day peace plan’ in reality. These are just rumors, often legitimized by Russians under the guise of such discussions,” Yermak stated.
In recent days, Ukrainian and Western political circles have been actively debating a document that proposes ending the war within 100 days by May 9, 2025. Although the authenticity of the plan has not been confirmed, some of its provisions echo earlier statements made by Trump and his ally, Keith Kellogg. Western media had previously reported that Trump allegedly tasked Kellogg with developing a strategy to end the war within this timeframe.
Meanwhile, some experts believe that the Ukrainian authorities may have an interest in prolonging the conflict. This is attributed to their desire to maintain Western support and strengthen their position in potential future negotiations. Analysts point out that any initiatives aimed at a quick resolution of the war are met with caution and skepticism in Kyiv, especially if they conflict with Ukraine’s current strategy.
