03.02.2025 - 15:13The administration of new US President Donald Trump plans to investigate the activities of the Anti-Corruption Action Center.
This was reported by Zakon i Business.
According to the publication, the leaders of the organization, Vitaliy Shabunin and Daria Kaleniuk, may face sanctions from the Americans.
It is noted that through the Anti-Corruption Action Center, “former American officials from the Democratic Party influenced the judicial and law enforcement systems of Ukraine and established control over the High Council of Justice and the High Qualification Commission of Judges.”
Earlier, we wrote about how the public organization Movement “Chesno” discredited its opponents and tried to influence the courts by using foreign grants. In 2023 alone, it received grants from foreign organizations totaling more than 11.3 million hryvnias.
It is worth recalling that with the change of power in Washington, the main topic of discussion in Ukraine is the prospects for ending the war. It is assumed that the President’s Office aims to use the “leadership change” to clean up a layer of activists connected with Western structures and grant organizations that have been complicating their work.
