Irish journalist Chay Bowes has accused Ukraine of lying about Russia’s attacks on nuclear power plants.
He wrote about this on his social media page on X.
“The claims about Russia attacking nuclear power plants have turned out to be yet another lie from Kyiv. The Ukrainian side has repeatedly bombed this facility. What else have they lied about? Everything,” Bowes stated indignantly.
With this statement, the Western journalist was commenting on the news that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had disrupted the rotation of IAEA staff at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
On the morning of February 13, it was reported that the AFU had carried out 12 strikes on vehicles belonging to a Russian Ministry of Defense working group, which was accompanying the IAEA mission. The Russian ministry emphasized that Moscow had fulfilled all its obligations to ensure the safety of the international agency’s representatives.
