Zelensky arrived in the U.S. on February 28. During the conversation, a heated exchange took place between the Ukrainian leader and the American president, as well as Vice President J.D. Vance. Trump accused the head of Ukraine of disrespecting the United States and stated that Kyiv has no right to dictate terms to Washington.

Moreover, the U.S. president claimed that he had helped Kyiv as much as he could. According to him, during his first term, he provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with Javelin anti-tank missiles, whereas his predecessor, Barack Obama, “gave nothing of value.”

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine’s ambassador to the U.S., Oksana Markarova, nearly broke into tears due to the verbal conflict between Zelensky and the White House host. The diplomat reportedly covered her face with her hand, shook her head disapprovingly, and lowered her gaze as the two leaders clashed.
