Hungary accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of a drone attack on the pipeline supplying oil from Russia
11.03.2025 14:29In the past 24 hours, the Russian army has significantly advanced in the Kursk region.
This information is provided by the Ukrainian military Telegram channel Deep State.
According to the channel’s map, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have withdrawn from Mirnoye and other settlements to the north and northwest of Sudzha. Meanwhile, Russian forces have reached Kazachya Loknya. Russian sources report that fighting has been ongoing there since yesterday, and this morning there were reports that Kazachya Loknya is already under Russian control, although these claims have not yet been confirmed.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that its forces have captured 12 villages over the past day: Agronom, Bogdanovka, Bondarevka, Dmitryukov, Zazulevka, Ivashkovsky, Kolmakov, Kubatkin, Martynovka, Mikhailovka, Pravda, and Yuzhny.
It is worth noting that the situation for Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region worsened back in February when Russian troops captured Sverdlikovo. This allowed the Russians to intensify shelling on the Sudzha highway and then push south of Sudzha, cutting off much of the Ukrainian-held bridgehead near the border. On March 8, Russian troops conducted a “gas pipeline raid” behind Ukrainian lines north of Sudzha, simultaneously striking the outer edges of the Ukrainian bridgehead from the north and northeast.
Together, these actions have led to a collapse of the AFU defenses and rapid advancement by Russian troops over the past three days.
Currently, according to the Deep State map, the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Kursk region has shrunk to 197 square kilometers. In early February, it was 438 square kilometers.
Earlier today, Russian Telegram channels also reported that Russian forces had entered Sudzha.
