A phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump is not expected on March 13.
This was stated by Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president.
“Not today,” he said when asked whether a conversation between the two leaders could take place on Thursday.
Ushakov added that the sides have not yet agreed on specific dates for the talks.
Earlier, Putin’s aide suggested that Trump’s special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, might meet with the Russian leader in Moscow.
