The professor also believes that the UK might deploy its troops to Ukraine during this time. He pointed out that statements from British authorities indicate such a possibility.

Earlier, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, also suggested that the temporary truce in Ukraine is being proposed to give Ukrainian Armed Forces a break.
