Zelensky stated that he is ready to meet with Russian representatives

Kyiv ready to meet with Russian representatives to achieve conflict resolution, setting aside emotions and sentiment.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his willingness to engage in contact with Moscow during a press conference with journalists, the recording of which is available on YouTube.

“If there is political will (…), a meeting is not a problem. The issue is purely pragmatic—if there are developed options that can bring us closer to ending the war, we will move forward without any pauses or sentiment,” the Ukrainian leader stated.

He added that he would meet with Russian representatives “without any pleasure.”

On March 19, U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky, discussing conflict resolution in Ukraine and the possibility of expanding the ceasefire regime. Trump later stated that their talks went “very well.”
