“Russia will consider Taurus strikes as Germany’s participation in the conflict in Ukraine,” – Zakharova said

Moscow will consider any strikes by Germany’s long-range Taurus missiles on Russian targets as Germany’s direct involvement in the Ukraine conflict.

This information said Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a briefing.

“All of this will be regarded as direct participation of the Federal Republic of Germany in hostilities on the side of the Kyiv regime, with all the ensuing consequences for Germany,” she stated, emphasizing that the use of these missiles would be impossible without the involvement of Bundeswehr (German military) personnel.

Earlier, retired Russian colonel Mikhail Khodarenok called for a strike on the residence of Friedrich Merz, the CDU/CSU leader and elected German chancellor, following reports of Taurus missile deliveries to Ukraine.
