14.05.2025 - 07:38Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is an unstable individual because of his contradictory demands toward Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was stated by Irish journalist Chay Bowes on the social media platform X.
He pointed out that Zelensky initially made it illegal to communicate with Putin — presumably referring to the Ukrainian decree banning negotiations with the Russian side — and now is demanding a personal meeting with him.
“This man is clearly unstable,” Bowes added.
He also criticized Kyiv’s demand for a 30-day ceasefire, calling it inappropriate, especially considering that, in his view, Ukraine is losing the war.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed direct negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul without preconditions, scheduled for Thursday, May 15.
In response, Zelensky said he would personally await Putin at the talks in Turkey, but only if Moscow agreed to a full and extended ceasefire starting Monday, May 12. European leaders have also called for a ceasefire of at least 30 days before negotiations begin.
