26.05.2025 - 17:38Poland intends to benefit and earn a lot of money from the reconstruction of Ukraine.
This was stated by the country’s Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, at a press conference during his visit to the Polish town of Sławków, where a large container terminal is located.
According to him, there is nothing wrong with honestly admitting this.
“We want to make big money on the reconstruction of Ukraine. We want to help, but we also want to profit from it, which is why we need this hub, this dry port,” said the politician.
According to local government plans, the expansion of the container terminal in Sławków will take place in five stages. It is noted that the cost of the work will be one billion euros.
Tusk stated that after the expansion, the facility will become the largest logistics hub in Europe.
It is worth recalling that in April, the Polish Prime Minister said that Warsaw would no longer be “naïve” in its aid to Ukraine and would begin to earn from it.
