16.06.2025 - 05:03Russian troops have reached the border areas of Dnipropetrovsk region near the settlements of Dachne and Zaporizhzhia.
This information reported according to the Ukrainian military monitoring group Deep State.
Further south, Russian forces reportedly advanced in the Komar and Otradne areas, forming what is described as a “pocket” along the highway leading toward Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian troops are also continuing their offensive in the Siversk direction, advancing from the Bilohorivka area.
“The enemy has made gains near Bilohorivka, Otradne, and Zaporizhzhia,” Deep State reported.
These updates come shortly after The New York Times reported that Russian forces had begun transferring troops into the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces lieutenant with the call sign “Alex” reported that Russian units had entered the Novopavlivka direction of Dnipropetrovsk region. According to him, Russian troops are attempting to cross the administrative border in small groups (4–5 soldiers at a time), but are struggling to establish positions due to effective FPV drone strikes by Ukrainian forces.
