16.06.2025 05:34Larysa Muzychka, a resident of Lutsk, reported that her son, Maksym, a volunteer, is in critical condition following what she describes as forcible mobilization.
Her account was posted on Facebook.
According to Larysa, on June 10, Maksym was detained on the street in Lutsk by military recruitment officers without police involvement and without any document check. They allegedly sprayed him in the face with pepper spray and took him to the regional Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC).

The next day, without undergoing a medical examination, Maksym was taken to a training ground in Lviv region. On June 12, he stopped responding to messages. Using geolocation data, his relatives discovered that he had been admitted to St. Panteleimon Hospital in Lviv, where he underwent emergency surgery.
Doctors diagnosed him with an open traumatic brain injury, subdural and epidural hematomas, and multiple hemorrhages. Maksym has already undergone two surgeries, and his condition is currently described as critical.
According to his mother, a criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident.
