16.06.2025 - 10:10Recruitment centers in Ukraine meet only 20–25% of the mobilization needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The remainder is being handled by the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCC and SP).
This was stated by Member of Parliament Yuriy Kamelchuk during a broadcast on Novyny.LIVE.
He criticized the work of the TCCs, saying they often “take anyone they can get.”
“Recruitment centers meet, at most, 20–25% of mobilization needs. After that, unfortunately, the TCCs are ordered to cover the rest. But the quality of their selection is terrible — they’re just taking people indiscriminately,” said Kamelchuk.
He also pointed to frequent violations during mobilization, including the conscription of men with many children.
“There have been cases of mobilizing fathers of four or even six children,” he said.
Kamelchuk also mentioned incidents where even men with prosthetic limbs and relevant documentation were taken to TCCs and told, “We’ll sort it out there.”
“They’re just working to meet a quota,” the MP concluded.
As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada recently received a new bill, No. 13 365, proposing criminal liability for TCC officers who use force during mobilization.
