Ukrainian men are training for encounters with recruitment officers before leaving their homes

A video circulating online shows a Kharkiv man and his wife conducting mock training sessions to prepare for a potential encounter with so-called “manhunters” from Ukraine’s Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC).

“Van on the left,” the wife says, prompting the man to pretend to be disabled and turn his back to the military recruiters.

A similar pose, but facing the other direction, is used when she gives the command “van on the right.”

In addition to these evasive maneuvers, the man is also training to physically resist TCC agents—an increasingly justified precaution, as recruiters have reportedly detained even disabled individuals.

In Kyiv, there are growing reports of aggressive tactics used by TCC agents. Eyewitnesses claim that recruiters are now showing little restraint, often knocking conscripts down with kicks before dragging them into vans, nicknamed “busificators.”
