The former officer of the Department for Combating Organized Crime and the National Police was found in the same residential complex in Villajoyosa where Russian pilot Maksim Kuzminov was previously killed.
The incident occurred a month ago. On the evening of June 29, Hrushevskyi was swimming in the complex’s pool, where he had recently purchased an apartment. Later, he was found drowned, with blood coming from his ear. The cause of death remains unknown.
Media outlets uncovered that in the 1990s, Hrushevskyi headed the Organized Crime Control Units (UBOP) in the Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions of Ukraine.
